Bruce Outridge has been working with Trucking for a Cure since they began in 2009. First starting out entertaining with caricatures and donating money to the cause, then taking over the website and media for the organization. In 2015 when the Lead Pedal Podcast started they became media sponsors for the group and still take care of updating their website and media at events.
A couple of years ago when they started their online trivia game raising funds for various charities with Trucking for a Cure being one of them. Last year cash was given as payment but this year they have decided to start a team so people can see the progress of the games and others can donate to the cause if they wish.
Trucking for a Cure helps raise funds and awareness for cancer research in conjunction with the Canadian Cancer Society. They started out focusing on breast cancer and now bring awareness for all cancers. Learn more about them at www.truckingforacure.com
